Our story began with a single diamond and a tenacious drive to succeed.
After Sam Thomas’ time in the United States Marine Corps as a Dragon Gunner, he did not know where the world was going to take him. With grueling tests of mental tenacity and physical capacity, Sam knew what it meant to work hard. He didn’t know his hard work would lead him to a future of such…sparkly endeavors. Sam moved back to Missouri and took on three part-time jobs at once; one of which was a local pawn and jewelry repair shop. At this shop, he noticed a need for help in the repair department. Through observation, he taught himself to be a goldsmith and skyrocketed the repair business for this small town pawn store.

To continue building his skills, Sam traveled to Quincy, Illinois to gain more knowledge in goldsmithing and sales, then was soon recruited for formal training in New York under a master goldsmith who fabricated pieces for one of the U.S.’s largest jewelry manufacturers. Sam took his new skills and knowledge back home to Chicago where he was offered a job selling and repairing jewelry under two more master goldsmiths.
Throughout these travels, Sam worked 120 hour workweeks for 10 years to build his skillset and earn what was needed to begin a business of his own. With a building almost ready to fold in on itself, Sam used all the money to his name to supply tools for a jewelry shop of his own. His starting inventory?--a single 0.25 carat diamond, which he would turn into showcases full of beautiful jewelry.

Engravable Jewelry purchased from us costing over $300 will be engraved for free. Other jewelry purchased in-store can be engraved for an additional $10 per side. On your own jewelry– $25-$45.
